Regards for Now is a portrait of a Danish woman and art lover Grethe Hanna whom Elise Young met while on a visit to Louisiana Museum. After the two connected over a shared love of Danish art, Young started photographing Hanna as a part of her ongoing body of work documenting Danish interiors and those who inhabit them. The project title refers to the phrase Hanna often ended their messages exchanges with, and became associated with the period of collaboration and friendship.

The photos span trips to The Nivågård Collection, and Hanna’s home outside of Copenhagen. This project is ongoing and Elise Young hopes to return to Copenhagen further.
